Felipe Artigas
felipe.artigas@mren2.univ-littoral.frLuis Felipe Artigas (Ph.D. of Biological Oceanography, Université de Bordeaux-I, France) is a marine biologist of the Laboratoire d'Océanographie et Géosciences (CNRS UMR 8187 LOG) and lecturer at the Université du Littoral (ULCO) in Wimereux (France),carrying out collaborative research with the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD) in French Guiana and Amazon estuarine and coastal systems. At ULCO, Felipe is a lecturer and has been co-responsible of the DEA Interfaces et Dynamiques en Environnement (2002-2004) and of the Master Program in Environnement Naturel (2004-2005). His areas of research are in phytoplancton and microbial ecology. He leads the CoML- ICOMM project for the Caribbean and South American regions in the LACAR initiative.
